Does my QR code still work if I cancel?
Yes — your printed QR code keeps working after you cancel. When paid plans launch, MyQR will use cancel-to-static: if you stop paying, your dynamic QR code freezes on its last destination and keeps redirecting there. You lose the ability to re-point it and you lose new scan tracking, but nothing you printed turns into a dead square.
What happens to my QR code when I cancel?
It keeps working. Your dynamic code freezes on whatever destination it last pointed at and keeps sending scanners there — it just stops being editable and stops tracking new scans.
A dynamic QR code works by pointing the printed pattern at a short redirect link, so the link can change without reprinting. The risk with most tools is obvious: if that link belongs to a plan you stopped paying for, the printed code could go dead. MyQR is built so that doesn't happen.
When paid plans launch, canceling will turn your paid dynamic code into a static one — it locks onto its last destination and keeps redirecting there. The flyer on the wall, the sticker on the package, the sign in the window: they all keep scanning to the right place.
Stop paying, and your code stops *changing* — it does not stop *working*. Printed codes don't break because of a canceled plan.
What exactly do I lose when a code goes static?
You lose the two things a paid plan was giving you: the ability to re-point the code to a new destination, and tracking on any new scans. The redirect itself stays live.
